Chess Center Services:
Chess Instruction
  • Learn chess through the methods developed by Grandmaster Susan Polgar.  
  • Individual and group lessons available.  For all Skill Levels.
Special Events
  • Private lessons at the club by GM Susan Polgar or other grandmasters(available when in town).
  • Simuls vs. Grandmasters at the center (or other titled players) and club tournaments.
  • Camps will be offered during the summer and school intercession breaks.
Tournaments
  • Monthly mini-tournaments and Scholastic tournaments.
Education
  • Will provide start up information and equipment to new Chess Clubs at schools.
  • Will have coaches available to train on site or at the center at a low cost to scholastic clubs.
Chess Store
  • Wide variety of books and equipment at low prices.

The South Texas Chess Center
has begun it's 4th Annual
Summer Chess Camp.

The Summer Camps include:
Chess Training on Beginning,
Middle and Endgame Tactics
Using the methods of GM Susan
Polgar. Mini-Tournaments will be
held to assess the level of each
student.

Students will enjoy the Chess camp and all the activities we provide in
addition the students will learn the game of chess and participate in
several tournaments to test their newly learned skills.

The South Texas Chess Center is designed especially to instruct
the game of Chess. We use the lastest equipment and training
methods developed by Chess Grandmaster Susan Polgar.  Our
chess equipment is all selected and endorsed by GM Polgar.
